Wheat beer

Description: A Bavarian style wheat beer with 50% wheat malt, 50% barley malt.

Malts: Wheat, pilsner and ale

Mash temperature: 68°C

Hopping: 18 IBU, Magnum and Hallertau

Recommended yeast: Safwheat WB-06 for a Bavarian style hefe-weizen, Safale US-05 for a more neutral wheaten ale.

Modifications: To brew a Saison, ferment this wort undiluted with a Saison yeast. It can also be used as a base for a sour beer.

Also use this wort as a base to brew fruit beers.
